The Road Bike score starts at 10.0 and deducts points based on current conditions. Final score is clamped to 1–10.
- Wind (0–4 pts): ≤10 km/h (0), ≤20 (−1), ≤30 (−2), ≤40 (−3), >40 (−4). Direction adjusts impact: headwind ×1.3, tailwind ×0.7, crosswind = base.
- Temperature (0–3 pts): 15–25°C (0), 10–15 or 25–30 (−1), 5–10 or 30–35 (−2), otherwise (−3).
- Humidity (0–2 pts): ≤60% (0), ≤80% (−1), >80% (−2).
- Visibility (0–3 pts): ≥10 km (0), ≥5 (−1), ≥2 (−2), <2 (−3).
Messages are based on the final score: ≥8 Perfect, ≥6 Good, ≥4 Decent, ≥3 Challenging, else Poor.
Note: Wind direction is treated as crosswind by default since route direction is unknown.
